Hola, I trust everybody had a fun and relaxing long weekend surrounded by friends and family. Oh my goodenesssssss is it every getting cold in the morning!?! Frost on my windshield... motorcycle is out of the question now much to my chagrin. Remember to dress up according to the whether les enfants. It's always easier to take a layer off than run around the school 5 times to get warmer...
We started the week strongly and did not let up all day. We did our Spelling quiz and caught up almost with the missing days. You can see Liam on today's picture wearing a glove... his pencil was getting too hot from so much writing I guess! Our little fundraiser is going very well. With all the pledges we are already over 200$. Oui Monsieur, I cannot see why we would not beat the all time record. Thank you to a few parents for their golf ball donations too, we were running low. A kid came up to me today and had brought a fair size bag full of golf balls (a few dozens) but they were all yellow from a certain driving range... it made me laugh because he thought we could add these to our pile and use them for our fundraiser. That was pretty cute.
Speaking of fundraisers and goodies, a friend of mine generously donated 10 tickets to go see the Tigers for the December 15th game. Monsieur Marcotte and I have to come up with some kind of incentive mechanism and selection. Tomorrow, we shall let the kids know how we are going to proceed. All the tickets are in the same row. We could even use a bit of golf ball fundraiser money to buy the kids popcorn... what do you think les enfants?
