Well, we had a kid that was a few days late for the bike to school day but she made quite the entree... Way to be Olivia ! Today was a good day, we had a bit of everything in and out of the classroom. Some sunshine, some rain, some hail... the 5s had a big quiz next door in M. Kennedy's class while the 4s just worked their tails off with the compliments, 6+1 and our French comprehension and more. Most of us were a bit bummed out that the Canucks lost but with Olivia's wheelies and smoke clouds it made us forget that :)

Today, we enjoyed our math class together in the sunshine and of course with no shoes on to ground ourselves at the same time :) We reviewed our long division and found out how much money my father spent on his unhealthy habit... Congratulations too to Brooklyn for taking the student of the week with her daily contagious smile and positive attitude. Go Canucks Go!!! Matusalem... it was a great French movie and a greater outing overall. We even stopped by to say hi to our classroom reading sponsor Cocoloco Bev on second street downtown. Kids enjoyed their popcorn while watching the flick. We also learnt how to play 'balon prisonnier' just before we handed out the Yearbooks where all the kids lost their minds and signed away their names to their little hearts content. Go Canucks go!!! B E A Utif ul weather today for our Track and Field. Kids did great and we had a bunch of fun !!! We did almost all the events and several parents showed up to cheer us on. Thank you for that. The bus got delayed in picking us up and while waiting, one of the organizers gave us all the 'healthy' pizza leftover from the concession... :) That was a nice gesture. We can see Katelyn here on the picture ripping a softball to the outfield !!! Great day all around !!! Well... the weather got the best of the Track and Field today but tomorrow though if the weather is better... M. Kennedy's grade 5s are still hanging out with us. They are warming up to our class dynamics and laughing along with us :) We worked hard on some English writing today namely poems... yes we are writing about LOVE... Well oh well we had a sweet surprise today. Bailey and Faith took it upon themselves to raise some more funds for our classroom so we can do even more field trips. They raised some $$$ and that is such a nice gesture. Way to be les filles, the 4/5 class is really proud of you!!! Also, we went swimming again today and had some fun with the car wash gun :) :) :) Track and Field tomorrow !!! This is your new blog post. Today, the grades 2/3 and 5/6 were gone so we worked extra hard to catch up on loose ends as a class. We had a very productive day. As you can see, Faustina was in the 'zone' and was displaying a great example of leadership and stealthiness throughout the day. Way to be Faustina and way to be les amis!!! A lundi !!! |
