Merci mere Nature!
We enjoyed a quick baseball game today after lunch for the first time this year. We had our classroom bats and we used a foam slow pitch ball. It is smaller than the small kickball we had and adding the batting layer... it is more of a challenge to connect. Hand, eye, bat coordination takes practice. It is just like badminton, volleyball etc. You are naturals and so by week end you will be golden. We are getting pretty good though at spitting those sunflower seeds are we not les enfants?
Our talk shows are winding down. We should be done by the end of this week. Today, we had a professional belly dancer interviewed on the Dawson show! We peeked inside the world of performers and how do they prepare for their shows and where do they get those funky costumes... Merci Dawson for putting on a good show, as usual!!!
We are going right along with our homophone booklet and are working with m'a et ma right now. Sont et son is happening demain and we will hit the middle of our booklet by week end. We also did a couple timed comprehension stories in E.L.A. We had not done some since term II. Kids love to do them, it prepares them too for their P.A.T.s. You are faster and faster les amis. Remember, at the beginning of the year you took over 10 minutes (grade 4s) and over 7 minutes (grade 5s). Now you are done within 7 (grade 4s) and withing 5 (grade 5). Rock on!
See you tomorrow,
