I am not precisely sure how it all weaved itself together but a kid thought he heard another kid saying a French swear word. Turns out it was not the case at all. Then, kids wanted me to teach them French swear words which I diplomatically declined. Those curious little minds... However, we got on the 'phoque/seal' topic where the kids learned about this French word that sounds just like the infamous one in English... Before we switched topic we had a few hard laughs from random kids saying French, random, cute sentences with our favorite animal of the day. Ah la la la la... how can you not be happy being around cute, happy and funny kids like this. You are fortunate parents to have phenomenal kids like this. Make sure you let them know often.
Changing the topic, today we worked really hard especially in English with our 6+1 writing. We had a few bio presentations along with some other ones from Mice at Centre Ice activities. Tomorrow, I will draw pairs to present their Week 2 - Day 4 writing along with their layout... ouhhhhhhhhhhh who's going to get picked first?
We had Esther too come in (our faithful French monitor) for the last time. Sniff sniff... she is off to La belle Province and we shall see her after the holiday. She had a cool song she played on her guitar. Kids actually participated in the writing of if :) Tell you parents about it les enfants!
Thank you too Monsieur Armtrong that showed up for physical education today. We played some always entertaining Attrappe le drapeau!
Ton prof, signing out!
