We did a new verb category. Les verbes pronomimaux... they conjugate the same way but they have a bit of a twist to them... they are common enough however that we have to learn them. We also started our homophone lessons and will be doing that for the next couple weeks. Today it was a,as, à We shall learn a new one every day or so. We are checking off the items and doing well. I anticipate that we should be done everything somewhat ahead of the year end calendar which will leave us time to go back on some concepts that were harder.
M.Beaulieu had to crack the whip today... even though mother nature provided us with sunshine and warm weather, kids decided no to enjoy their outside physical education class and conjugate our newly learnt verbes pronominaux instead. It is almost month 8 now and too many things weren't up to par so the kids had to be reminded of what us (as a class) and we (as a school) expect... how is tomorrow going to be les enfants??? It will be magic, I know it!
We are on for the water treatment plant and the landfill. M. Becker has to call back and confirm a time but we got in so that is the main thing. We also have a tentative Track & Field date booked for June 13th. The whole class will go and we will 'compete' for fun... As I remind the kids often, it is all about F.U.N. Parents are welcome to join us anytime during the day to come and say hi. However, they have asked me to find 2 parent helpers or volunteers. If you would like to be one simply show up at the event at 9 o'clock on the 13th. They will team you up with another parent and assign you to a station. You shall then get your name in a draw to win a 3 month trip around the world all expenses paid...
