We had a fire drill today while we were break dancing and giving it large on the gym floor. We reviewed some moves we had learnt and learnt a new one. The flying turtle... we had a 10-minute circle, a solid breaking beat going on our classroom getto blaster and lots of fun. Pretty much everybody went it and showcased their ever improving skills. We had some top rock, some down rock, some pop in, some six steps, some flying turtles, some classic moves and then some. Rock on les amis!!! Now we need to come up with some trendy names like the break dancers do...
What else is new in our grade 4&5 world. Ouhhhhhhhhh, it was a sad morning for a few kids today. M. Beaulieu had to pull a few plants... I know les amis... but it had to be done. During my daily rounds of prunning etc. I noticed the infamous spider-mites on our citrouilles. Since they were not doing well and not bearing any fruit I decided to give a chance to other kind plants to grow. The bottom shelf looks bear since the citrouilles had taken up lots of space with their giant solar panel leaves. Not to worry les amis, we will get you growing other plants in no time.
Manana is Friday already, yes you read that right. I can't believe how fast this week has gone. Isn't that how life goes too... to fast! Oh, I almost forgot, we did our vocab quiz today and had I'm yours from Jason Mraz as our fill in the blank song. Kids loved it and we sang it as we danced our little hearts out just before la Bibli. Mme. Graham likes when the kids are tired, they pay attention better when she reads them a story.
Ciao ciao !
