It was fun and he finished his morning presentation with a bang... big time bang actually. He filled a balloon with hydrogen and oxygen and had it dangling on a string. A volunteer, all equipped with safety gear, brought a small flame to it and Shazam!!! Dust came down from the ceiling... everybody had their ears covered and lost their minds after the blast.... It took a little more than the 10 seconds it usually did to calm the kids down after an experiment :)
Science in motion always has fun stuff. Last year we made and sampled pop. Next year, I hear they will saw a girl in two and put her back together... You can see Nicholas here being part of a human current chain on today's picture. They were having some fun and lighting up random lights via the Tesla Coil.
